The Commonwealth of Dominica is making swift progress on a new modern hospital with construction over halfway done. The hospital is scheduled to open in April 2021 and is entirely financed by funds generated under the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Programme.
Dominica has committed itself to investing in its healthcare sector over the next few years. Construction on a new state-of-the-art hospital on the island is part of the wider “Housing Revolution” initiative which aims to build 5,000 weather-resistant and affordable homes for families. The initiative also aims to build multiple health centres and two community centres.
