St Kitts and Nevis announces new CBI fund

Known as the world’s oldest offering of second citizenship through investment, the St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme continues to prove why its product is revered across the globe.

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr the Honourable Timothy Harris, has launched a new fund called the Sustainable Growth Fund, which will come into effect shortly after the closure of the highly popular temporary model – the Hurricane Relief Fund.

Investing in sectors such as healthcare and education, the Sustainable Growth Fund investment threshold will begin at US$150,000 for a single applicant, and $US195,000 for a family of four.

St Kitts CBI programme: High-quality standards and great mobility

As pioneers of the economic citizenship industry, the twin-island nation exhibits a strong capacity to innovate and plan for the future. The Prime Minister reiterated the values of the ‘Platinum Standard’ citizenship programme in his announcement. “We stand for integrity, rigour and robust due diligence,” he said.

Last year the Citizenship by Investment Programme received high praise from a number of institutions for its innovative approach, high quality processing and premium service. It was rated the best in the world for the method of vetting applicants (due diligence) and for its speed and ease of processing, which includes the ever-popular Accelerated Application Process, guaranteeing St Kitts and Nevis citizenship with the accompanying passport in under 60 days.

The Hurricane Relief Fund, which was launched in October 2017 as a response to a difficult hurricane season in the Caribbean, was also highly praised, with Prime Minister Harris commenting that the HRF “exceeded all expectations [with] a number of applications still being processed.”

CEO of CS Global Partners, Micha Emmett, believes this new funding model will be a popular entry onto the second citizenship scene:

“When families look to invest in second citizenship, they want something that is affordable and yet sophisticated: two aspects the St Kitts and Nevis Platinum Standard product represents.”

CEO of the St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme, Les Khan, explained that the new fund benefits both client and country:

“The Sustainable Growth Fund is not just about sustaining development for our nation, it is also about providing a strong investment opportunity for our potential economic citizens. The Programme allows applicants and their families to secure their future in the same way the Fund operates to enhance the quality of living for our citizens on the islands.”

Last year the Programme was awarded ‘World’s Most Innovative Investment Immigration Programme’, acknowledging the leadership and forward-thinking values that the St Kitts and Nevis product continues to uphold.

Mobility is a major drawcard for the St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme. The Government has recently signed historic visa-free waiver agreements with a number of major countries such as Russia, India and Indonesia. Citizens of the twin-island nation can enjoy visa-free travel to over 150 jurisdictions around the world.
