Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Programme has been internationally recognised for its robust due diligence framework. The 2020 CBI Index notes that the country received top scores for its due diligence once again, marking the fourth consecutive year the island has attained a perfect score since the programme was introduced in 2017.
Due diligence is crucial to maintaining the reputation of the Citizenship by Investment industry. Dominica ensures that outside of its stringent vetting procedures it encourages transparency by publishing the names of economic citizens and a detailed budget of where funds have been invested. The 2020 CBI Index, published by experts at the Financial Times’ Professional Wealth Management magazine, has highlighted the country’s commitment to due diligence in its last four issues of the report.
