St Kitts and Nevis citizens can now travel freely to nearly 160 destinations

The last few months have seen positive changes to the dual-island nation of St Kitts and Nevis. Between the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) commending the Federation’s economy and the United Nations General Assembly opening the gate to establishing various diplomatic relationships – it is clear that St Kitts and Nevis are determined to end the year on an especially strong note.

At the end of October, Dr Kevin M Isaac from the Federation met with Albanian ambassador Qirjako Qirko to form diplomatic relations at the St Kitts and Nevis High Commission in London. The aim of the union was to bring stronger collaboration – particularly in tourism and investment promotion – and harmony to both countries, while addressing the common challenges the two nations are faced with. The diplomats also discussed implementing a mutual visa waiver in the near future.

Agreements with Albania and the Republic of Belarus

The agreement with Albania was shortly succeeded by another signing, this time with the Republic of Belarus. After establishing diplomatic relations between St Kitts and Nevis and the former Soviet Republic earlier this year, Ambassador Verna Mills and Belarusian counterpart Aleksandr Aleksandrov congregated at the Embassy of Belarus in Havana to strengthen the relationship between their countries.

The government officials went on to sign a mutual visa waiver, allowing citizens holding a valid passport of both nations the ability to enter, transit or exit without a visa. Both ambassadors also expressed their interest in continuing to develop bilateral relations and encouraging greater travel between the two countries.

Citizens, both economic and native, can enjoy increased global mobility

St Kitts and Nevis’ quest to building robust diplomatic ties across Europe, Africa and the Middle East contributes to strengthening the value of the dual-island nation’s Citizenship by Investment Programme. Citizens, both economic and native, can enjoy increased global mobility, with close to 160 destinations allowing them visa-free or visa-upon-arrival travel.

The dual-island nation offers investors a straightforward and secure path to acquiring second citizenship and remains the only jurisdiction that has an Accelerated Application Process – which allows successful applicants to obtain their citizenship and passport within 60 days. With over 30 years of experience in the CBI industry, St Kitts and Nevis is at the pinnacle of success and is often referred to as the industry’s Platinum Standard.
